Job Summary

Auro Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction in our public spaces and guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling and staffing.
  • Conduct regular inspections of public spaces and guest rooms to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including front office, engineering, and banquets, to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, including linens, chemicals, and amenities, to ensure we have the necessary resources to maintain high standards.
  • Prepare and manage payroll and schedules to ensure compliance with productivity and budgetary standards.
  • Perform performance appraisals and provide feedback to housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Assist with cleaning rooms, inspections, laundry, and overall lobby cleanliness as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of hotel management/supervisory experience in housekeeping or rooms division.
  • Previous experience as a housekeeping manager or supervisor is required, preferably in a brand hotel.
  • Must speak, read, and understand English.
  • Associates or better in hospitality and resort management or related field.
  • 2 years of previous experience as a room attendant in a similar size hotel atmosphere.
  • 2 years of previous experience as a manager or supervisor in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a brand hotel.
