Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Engineer for Project Engineering to provide technical leadership in the development and execution of complex projects and programs. As a key member of the Project Core Team, you will oversee outside engineering firms and internal technical specialists to ensure project designs meet Colonial's standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute technical scope of work for assigned projects/programs
  • Identify, contract, and manage external technical resources
  • Lead technical sub-teams and monitor progress
  • Develop, review, and quality-check technical deliverables and design documents
  • Support project management processes, procedures, and tools
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum)
  • 10+ years of engineering experience, ideally 7+ years in oil/gas or related industry
  • Certified Engineer in Training
  • Experience working on projects over $10 million
  • Advanced knowledge of oil and gas related codes and standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • 15+ years of engineering experience in oil/gas industry
  • Licensed Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional
  • Project management experience, including creating estimates, project schedules, and forecasts
