Job Summary:

Castle Imports of McHenry is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch vehicle repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance services with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues with vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors to ensure seamless service experiences.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, repair procedures, and specifications to provide exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician, preferably with Kia experience.
  • ASE Certification and B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Excellent customer service skills, basic computer competencies, and a positive attitude.
  • Dexterity, mechanical skills, and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
