Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Gardener to join our team at Monarch Landscape Companies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining commercial landscapes, ensuring they are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure job sites are maintained as instructed by Foreman, including mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including 21" and 36" mowers, power hedge shears, power shears, backpack blower, and aerator.
  • Develop a basic understanding of plant identification and hand pruning skills.
  • Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance with Monarch Safety Policy.
  • Adhere to company dress code policy and follow inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures.
Requirements
  • Commercial or residential landscape experience preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License issued from state of employment, preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Strong commitment to high-quality work and customer service.
  • Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
