We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Gardener to join our team at Monarch Landscape Companies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and integrity of our commercial landscapes.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the maintenance of job sites as instructed by the Foreman, including tasks such as mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including 21" and 36" mowers, power hedge shears, power shears, backpack blower, and aerator.
- Develop a basic understanding of plant identification and apply hand pruning skills to maintain healthy and visually appealing landscapes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, dress code, and inclement weather procedures.
- Commercial or residential landscape experience preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver's license issued from the state of employment, preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members, with bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to high-quality work and customer service, with the ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
The Maintenance Gardener will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, frequently exposed to loud noise levels, and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
