Job Title: Dishwasher & Porter

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher & Porter. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our food service operations.

About the Role:

As a Dishwasher & Porter, you will be responsible for upholding the backbone of our kitchen operations. Your tasks will include:

  • Efficiently putting away and rotating produce and food orders to ensure freshness and longevity.
  • Inspecting all cooking utensils and equipment to guarantee they meet our standards for quality and cleanliness.
  • Operating kitchen machinery, including knives, ovens, grills, food processors, and blenders, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Following and enforcing food safety and sanitation guidelines, setting the standard for best practices within the kitchen.
  • Opening and closing your station, ensuring you and your fellow team members are positioned for success.
  • Occasionally assisting with food preparation as needed.
  • Washing dishes by hand and by operating dish machinery.
  • Removing garbage from the restaurant, busing tables, and retrieving dishes from dining areas.
