About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Health Residential Manager to join our team at IAHD. As a key member of our residential care staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Summary

The Home Health Residential Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential facilities, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support. This includes managing staff, developing and implementing individualized service plans, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of our residential facilities, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support.
  • Manage a team of direct support professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, medication administration records, and time sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, including OPWDD and IAPHH standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including clinical and administrative teams, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, special education, or related field, with three years of combined clinical/managerial experience.
  • Valid New York State driver's license with six points or less.
  • Ability to drive a 15-passenger van.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of IRA regulations and certification requirements.
  • Able to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SCIP-R certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other software applications.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience.
