About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at The Learning Center for the Deaf. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide individual and group therapy to students, develop strength-based treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to students and families, including individual and group therapy
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with an interdisciplinary team
  • Provide family therapy and collateral services to agencies on behalf of students and families
  • Collaborate with educational and residential staff within Walden School and the Marie Philip School
  • Participate in clinical on-call rotation and provide discharge planning and community liaison services
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in social work, psychology, or mental health field, with eligibility for Massachusetts state licensure
  • Conversational fluency in American Sign Language, with native or near-native fluency preferred
  • Excellent communication and grammar skills, with ability to ensure effective and appropriate communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with staff at all levels
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
