The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or GED, a diploma from an accredited Vocational/Technical LVN program, and at least 1 year of experience as an LVN. A current unrestricted LVN license issued by the State of California is also required. Additionally, a Basic Life Support Provider certification from the American Heart Association and an Intravenous Therapy & Blood Withdrawal Certificate from the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians are preferred.
