Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Proliance Surgeons. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-surgical nursing assessments and provide education to patients prior to admission at the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, request necessary pre-surgical clearances and diagnostics, and communicate the patient's plan of care to the ASC.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide optimal care to patients throughout their surgical experience.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with healthcare changes and advancements.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current State licensure and CPR, ACLS, and PALS accreditation.
- Two years of OR, Recovery Room, Intensive Care, or Emergency Room experience is desired.
