Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site-specific seismic hazard assessments and ground-response evaluations.
  • Utilize numerical modeling techniques with finite-element software such as PLAXIS.
  • Design structures for earth retention, slope stabilization, and foundation systems.
  • Perform analyses for settlement, liquefaction, and seismic performance.
  • Prepare geotechnical recommendations, plans, and specifications for various construction projects.
  • Assist in field operations, including exploratory drilling, monitoring deep foundation work, and overseeing grading activities.
  • Complete fieldwork, analytical tasks, and project documentation with guidance from experienced colleagues.
  • Progressively learn and tackle more complex tasks under the supervision of senior engineers.
Candidate Profile

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience or internships.
  • Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T) certification.
  • Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and soil mechanics.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with numerical modeling and GIS is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams and demonstrate resourcefulness when working independently.
