About the Role

As a Building Operations Specialist at CBRE, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
  • Comply with applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Maintain an energy management program, ensuring all systems operate in the most efficient manner.
  • Assist with implementing a preventive maintenance program to extend the lifespan of building machinery and systems.
Requirements

This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification is preferred. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions. Prior shift management or supervisory experience is also desired.

Skills and Qualifications

Estimated Salary Range

$55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
