Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Housekeeper to join our team at the Auburn Hills Marriott Pontiac. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of our guest rooms, hallways, and public areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms, including changing linens, replenishing amenities, and removing trash and dirty linens.
  • Stock housekeeping carts with supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks, including changing air filters, cleaning air conditioning coils, and touching up paint and furniture.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
