Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

 

Job Description:

We are searching for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide virtual therapy services to students through online platforms. As an OT, you will play a vital role in promoting students' independence and enhancing their participation in academic and daily activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

You will conduct assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities. You will also develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, visual perception, sensory integration, and self-care tasks through virtual means.

 

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the virtual educational curriculum.
  • Provide direct virtual therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings virtually and contribute expertise to support students' needs.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

 

  • A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • An Occupational Therapy State License.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is desirable, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A passion for working with children to enhance their functional skills and independence.
