Job Title: Team Lead for Education and Community Development Centers

At FACETS, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead for Education and Community Development Centers to join our team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field, with extensive experience in case management services and program management.

Job Summary:

The Team Lead for Education and Community Development Centers is responsible for the smooth and effective delivery of community-based services and programs for Wedgewood, The Robinson, Ragan Oaks, and Barros Circle. This includes supervising case management and developing and evaluating programs and services for children and adults. The Team Lead also represents ECD at agency events, county meetings, partner meetings, and community events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Community Development Advocates working in community centers to provide programming, case management, and leadership development.
  • Ensure community case management services are provided in locations served by ECD staff, assisting staff in case analysis to implement appropriate interventions and to identify suitable referrals.
  • Establish services at the new community center opening at One University in November 2024.
  • Perform site visits with staff, including visits to residents' homes, work sites, and/or programs as needed.
  • Provide weekly supervision to staff and document staff performance through yearly evaluations and more often as needed.
  • Plan and participate in training for team development.
  • Collaborate with the Volunteer Manager to ensure all sites have appropriate support.
  • Manage accurate records for ECD program (virtual and paper) and develop and track budgets for all ECD sites, in collaboration with the Director of Community Development.
  • Support the Communications Team by providing stories and photos that demonstrate the impact of the ECD Centers and enhance statistical data.
  • Provide support in the grant-writing process for funding of programs.
  • Participate and assist with all seasonal/holiday drives and fundraising events.
  • Conduct presentations on ECD programs and needs to the general public.
  • Represent FACETS in the community, in accord with Agency Mission, Vision, and Code of Ethics.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field; Bachelor's degree with extensive experience will be considered.
  • Experience providing case management services and program management, including providing direct supervision of program staff.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and an independent and creative worker.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Arabic) is a plus.
  • Ability to lift items weighing 10-20 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, good driving record, and personal car insurance.
  • Ability to drive a 15-passenger van.
  • Must pass criminal background and Child Protective Services background checks.
