The Senior Living Services Manager oversees the health and wellness of each resident in our assisted living community, focusing on resident evaluations, medication management, and support for daily living activities. This role includes hiring and supervising nursing personnel within the assisted living sector, ensuring that all services are delivered with the utmost regard for the health, safety, and satisfaction of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with the Health Services Director to manage the clinical operations across the facility.
  • Ensures that pre-admission assessments are completed prior to resident move-in and monitors for any changes in health status.
  • Leads the assessment of residents' lifestyle and care needs to identify their ongoing medical and personal care requirements.
  • Assists residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
  • Maintains accurate and timely updates in CareTracker and ensures all documentation is completed efficiently.
  • Oversees the documentation process and addresses any changes in resident needs promptly.
  • Facilitates the development of personalized service plans in collaboration with residents and their families, ensuring effective communication with caregivers.
  • Coordinates and leads resident meetings, addressing feedback and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Manages all pharmacy and medication requirements, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Acts as a liaison between residents, the health campus, external healthcare providers, family members, and referral sources to meet residents' health-related needs effectively.
  • Supervises and participates in the execution of treatment plans as per physician directives.
  • Ensures that resident medical records are maintained in accordance with state regulations.
  • Assists in the training of nursing assistants in daily living assistance, medication policies, infection control, dietary issues, and other health-related training needs.
  • Supports the recruitment and selection process for nursing assistants and licensed staff within the assisted living unit.
  • Ensures compliance with CPR/First Aid training requirements as per state regulations and company policies.
  • Guarantees that all orientation and training requirements are fulfilled as mandated by state regulations.
  • Provides weekend management coverage and participates in on-call duties as necessary.
  • Assists in organizing and directing marketing initiatives for the campus in alignment with company policies.
  • Implements strategies to foster relationships with key referral sources.
  • Distributes information about the campus to referral sources.
  • Serves as a point of contact for inquiries and tours when necessary.
  • Participates in various committees related to health campus operations as required.
  • Engages in annual mandatory training programs.
  • Minimal travel may be required, including occasional overnight stays.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a degree from an accredited nursing program.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a large vehicle.
