Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, management, and technical expertise for all maintenance functions associated with bakery operations.
Analyze and resolve technical maintenance challenges.
Lead initiatives to achieve a zero-injury workplace by ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Conduct performance evaluations of the maintenance management team; recommend and implement suitable training programs to address developmental needs.Utilize the CMMS to analyze data, generate reports, and implement actions to enhance KPIs.
Qualifications:
Ability to travel for meetings, FATs, benchmarking, etc. Average travel is 10%-15%.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations at state, federal, and local levels.
Demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills; proficiency in using a personal computer.
Participative management style that empowers teams and exhibits excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proven experience in building a cohesive and effective team.
Foster a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and professionalism, actively supporting the Company's values.
Understand, coach, and teach Continuous Improvement principles, including lean tools, process capability, and operational discipline.
Ability to establish a strategic vision and lead through effective communication to achieve both short-term and long-term sustainable results.
Education and Experience:
Five or more years of hands-on management experience in maintenance.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field preferred. High School Diploma/GED required.
A combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates competency to perform the work may be considered.
AIB certification preferred.
Operational background in electrical systems, refrigeration, fuel-burning equipment, and machinery mechanics.
Conceptual knowledge of PLC programming is required; proficiency in PLC programming is preferred.
Familiarity with lean tools or a similar statistical process and control system is essential.Position Requirements:
