Job Title: Parts Wholesales Sales Representative

At Bertera Subaru of Hartford, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Parts Wholesales Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling parts and accessories to wholesalers and retailers, ensuring customer satisfaction and achievement of revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by actively promoting and selling parts to wholesalers and retailers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to build customer loyalty and increase sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, including features, benefits, and compatibility, to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct effective sales presentations to showcase products, negotiate terms, and close sales deals. Ensure accuracy in price quotations, delivery timelines, and order tracking.
  • Market Research: Continuously research and stay updated on industry trends, competitive pricing, and new products to identify sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales Reports: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, pipeline activities, and territory analysis. Provide feedback to sales management on market trends and customer preferences.
  • Product Training: Coordinate with the internal team to organize and participate in product training sessions to enhance product knowledge among customers.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving customer inquiries, complaints, or issues. Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to position our products as the preferred choice for customers.
  • Product Expertise: Continuously update knowledge of automotive parts, including industry standards, mechanics, and technological advancements, to effectively communicate product features and benefits.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in B2B sales, preferably in the automotive parts industry or related field.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of automotive parts, their applications, and compatibility requirements.
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and close sales deals. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and support organizational goals.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant sales tools.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle for traveling to meet clients.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
