  • Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems with precision, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and inventory management.
  • Handle product transfers and display items effectively.
  • Gather customer information during transactions to enhance service quality.
  • Ensure that glassybaby products are always showcased during operational hours.
  • Build customer relationships by sharing the glassybaby story, promoting email sign-ups, and participating in community outreach initiatives.
  • Act as a knowledgeable and friendly representative of glassybaby, ensuring customers leave with a positive impression of the brand and products.
  • Stay informed about the glassblowing process and share insights with customers.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting workspace for customers to observe the glassblowing process.
  • Collaborate with management and team members to address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Assist with inventory management, including exchanges and monthly inventory tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of glassybaby products and their creation process.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Professional and clear verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and punctuality.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and respect.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with operating iPhones, iPads, and email communication.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Shopify is preferred.
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing and walking required.
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking and hearing.
  • Vision capabilities must include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment.
  • Frequent use of hands for handling and reaching tasks.
Position Type:

Part-time role with flexible hours.
