Position Summary

We are in search of a committed Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to enhance our dynamic STAR program. The CRS will be instrumental in guiding individuals through their recovery process by providing essential support, advocacy, and motivation. This role presents a valuable opportunity to positively impact the lives of those we assist.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized support and guidance to participants in the STAR program.
  • Assist clients in establishing and reaching their personal recovery objectives.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the program and broader community.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and execute tailored treatment plans.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Engage in continuous training and professional development activities.

Qualifications
  • Certification as a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) is mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment settings is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A compassionate and nonjudgmental approach towards individuals in recovery.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
