Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute treatment plans, using a variety of techniques and modalities, including therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and modalities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and patient support systems to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Oversee support staff, including physical therapist assistants, athletic trainers, and physical therapy aides, to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Completed state-regulated continuing education requirements.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
