Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Lead Teacher to join our team at our Champions After School Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of teachers, implementing our curriculum, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of teachers to ensure high-quality education and care for children
- Implement our curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development
- Partner with parents to provide the best possible care and education for their children
- Support the success of our center by working collaboratively with staff and leadership to achieve goals
- Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- Approved state trainer (preferred)
- 2-3 years of experience in early childhood education (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Meet state-specific guidelines for the role
