We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at NaphCare, a leading provider of quality healthcare in the correctional industry. As a Counselor, you will play a critical role in our mission to bring excellence in care to a unique and diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) license and experience working in corrections, although this is not required. You will conduct weekly group substance abuse counseling sessions for male and female inmates with Opioid use Disorder, provide psychoeducation about substance abuse, and collect and enter data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly group substance abuse counseling sessions
  • Provide psychoeducation about substance abuse
  • Data collection and data entry

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with license (LAC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) required, but LCADC preferred
