The RoleWe're seeking a seasoned Design Director to lead our design team in shaping the company's brand, vision, and strategy. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for defining and evolving our visual identity, ensuring consistency across all assets, and driving growth through design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strong design vision, aligned with the company's goals and values
- Lead a team of designers in creating high-quality, user-centered designs for new features and product rollouts
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure seamless integration of design and marketing efforts
- Manage design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
- Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices
We're looking for a highly experienced Design Director with a strong portfolio of branding and marketing design. You should have a deep understanding of consumer-focused design principles, growth principles, and A/B testing. Excellent project management skills, including directing other designers, freelancers, or contractors, are essential. Proficiency in Figma, the Adobe Suite, and other design tools is a must.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a product designer or visual designer at an agency, firm, or in-house studio or team
- Bachelor's degree in Design or related discipline
- Strong portfolio of branding and marketing design, demonstrating a solid knowledge of consumer-focused design principles
- Experience with growth principles, A/B testing, and analytical tools for product building
- Excellent ability to single-handedly conceptualize and think critically about design, balancing user and business goals
- Expert project management abilities, including directing other designers, freelancers, or contractors
- Proficiency with Figma, the Adobe Suite, and other design tools of your choice
We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000/year to $250,000/year, depending on experience. This is a full-time, onsite position in our San Francisco office.
