Financial Registration Specialist

St. Joseph's Healthcare System is a leading healthcare organization in the state, recognized for its expertise and compassion. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Registration Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities- Collect demographic, financial, and insurance information from patients
- Perform financial screening and collections of patient financial responsibility
- Refer self-pay patients to financial services as needed
- Enter data accurately and provide prompt service to patients
- Act as a liaison for ancillary departments
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic technical training in medical office practice
- 3-6 months of on-the-job training and orientation
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
- Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
