Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Emory Dunwoody Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, dependable, and effective care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This will involve utilizing the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. A strong understanding of the Synergy Model for Care and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Utilize the Synergy Model for Care in practice

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
  • Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
  • BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments
