About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality Coordinator to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will be responsible for coordinating, developing, implementing, and evaluating system-wide processes related to clinical quality measures.

You will work closely with staff, management, and physicians to ensure compliance with quality metrics and provide educational support to improve performance. Your expertise will be essential in designing, implementing, and maintaining educational processes related to quality measures for leadership, staff, and physicians.

  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with department directors and managers to maintain staff compliance with quality metrics.
  • Conduct focused department surveys and prepare reports of the results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor compliance to assigned quality metrics, analyze trends, and work with quality director, quality medical director, CMO, and multi-disciplinary teams in PI process.
  • Provide management, physicians, and staff with continual feedback and educational support related to current compliance scores to improve performance.
  • Responsible for maintaining clinical statistics/data and reporting results with measures for improvement.
  • Function as a resource to physicians and all departments by participation in assigned standing meetings related to all quality measures.
  • Enhance self-professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, research of current literature, in-service meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the quality director in assuring compliance with State and Federal Regulations; Joint Commission Standards, and Corporate standards related to all Clinical Quality Measures.
  • Foster a cooperative and motivational work environment.
  • Actively support and comply with ARH policies.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse
  • Associate's degree
  • Minimum three years RN and/or Quality Improvement experience
