We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Overnight Pharmacist to join our team at Soliant Health. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain expertise in specialized drug therapies for diverse patient populations.
- Evaluate and monitor drug therapy for appropriateness, including dosage and potential interactions.
- Ensure compliance with prescribing criteria for biotechnology medications.
- Identify, document, and report any adverse drug reactions or medication errors.
- Communicate effectively with prescribers regarding medication order clarifications and changes.
- Accurately dispense medications and solutions from the pharmacy.
- Provide comprehensive drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Review physician orders for potential therapeutic issues, contraindications, and allergies.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Pharmacist license in good standing with the California Board of Pharmacy.
- A minimum of two years of recent clinical pharmacy experience.
- Availability for full-time night shifts.
- ASHP accredited residency is preferred.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required.
