Job Title: Maître d' - Hospitality Leader
Job Summary:
The ONE Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maître d' to join our team. As a Maître d', you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and cultivate a concierge program to enhance the guest experience
- Oversee the host, coat check, and door staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Optimize the flow of guests during service to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Build and maintain reservation books to effectively accommodate a high volume of guests
- Maintain strong relationships with hotels and other booking agents
- Ensure that all guest information is up-to-date in the database
- Maintain accurate and current guest-facing information online, in-venue, and with the reservations department
- Interact with guests via review and social channels to maintain a positive online reputation
- Act as a reliable and fun team member who enjoys being part of a great team and a quickly growing company
- Open and close the venue as needed as a floor manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and creative solution-generation skills
- General business acumen and knowledge of restaurant computer systems
- Ability to quickly integrate into a team and be recognized as a leader
- Ability to find problem areas, develop solutions, and get the job done
- Able to delegate effectively with a sense of professionalism
- Able to work 8+ hours and late nights
