Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and mental health needs, developing and implementing comprehensive care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support to promote informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred, with a valid RN license in the state of employment.
- American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification required within 30 days of hire, with bi-annual re-certification.
- Formal training in management of aggressive patients required within 60 days of hire, with annual re-certification.
- Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
