Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and setup of anesthesia equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and properly calibrated.
  • Communicate effectively with anesthesiologists, residents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operate complex equipment, such as cell-savers and infusion pumps, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in in-service training programs and assist in the development of new training materials.
  • Provide primary support in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of anesthesia equipment.
Requirements:
  • BLS certification
  • Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
  • Preferred qualifications: certification by the registry of the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or other nationally recognized professional certifying body
