Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance professional to join our team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day maintenance tasks efficiently, prioritizing repairs and maintenance to minimize disruptions to our guests.
- Complete all work orders and service requests accurately and on time, maintaining excellent communication with department heads and colleagues.
- Maintain records for our Preventative Maintenance Program, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist in overseeing external contractors and perform grounds work as directed by senior staff.
- Repair or replace property brick, stone, and concrete, ensuring a high standard of finish.
- Maintenance and repair of wooden parts of the property, including casings, handles, knobs, latches, hoses, wiring, belts, etc.
- Clean and maintain air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Shampoo carpets and upholstery as directed, maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
- Using a steamer to clean tile and hard surfaces, maintaining a high standard of hygiene.
- Moving and arranging furniture, ensuring safe access for guests.
- Ensure safety standards are met, complying with company, local, City, State, and Federal guidelines.
- Proficient in maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques with advanced understanding.
- Ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
- Strong work ethic, effective communication skills, excellent time management skills, and keen attention to detail required.
- High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent qualification.
- Willingness to be on call and available to respond to maintenance requests during nights, weekends, and holidays.
$13 hourly wage, providing a competitive compensation package.
