Job Description

As a Food Service Worker at Aerotek, you will be responsible for performing all cafeteria duties, including general food service work. Maintaining sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities is crucial to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
  • Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
  • Store foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
  • Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
  • Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Relay relevant information to the supervisor.
  • Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.

Requirements:

  • Stand/move for 8 hours.
  • Clean, prep food, and serve food.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in a cafeteria setting with a focus on maintaining sanitation and safety standards.
