About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between our customers, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional service throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for customer interactions, addressing requests for quotes, order processing, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Review and analyze purchase orders and specifications to ensure all customer requirements are met, coordinating with relevant departments as necessary.
  • Generate and communicate quotations effectively to customers.
  • Input sales orders accurately, provide order confirmations, and proactively manage order status updates.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, liaising with engineering, production, and shipping teams to ensure customer needs are prioritized and addressed.
  • Provide management with reports on customer interactions, opportunities, and departmental challenges.
  • Assist in the training of new team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
  • Support the logistics team with product receiving, packaging, and shipping as needed.

Success Criteria:

  • Proven experience in customer service or inside sales.
  • Familiarity with MRP and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
