Your Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer at CLEAR, you will engage in the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications that enhance our platform. This platform integrates various attributes and qualifications while prioritizing member privacy and security.

Technical Environment:

  • Kotlin / Android / Jetpack Compose
  • AWS cloud services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance our capabilities across diverse industries, gaining practical experience in privacy, security, data modeling, and architecture.
  • Write and deliver code throughout the mobile stack, ensuring engineering excellence by following best practices in testing, documentation, and observability.
  • Collaborate with product teams and other stakeholders to identify requirements, foster innovation, and address complex challenges.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, participating in architectural decision-making and striving for continuous improvement in technology and processes at CLEAR.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of software development experience.
  • Proficient in mobile application development, with familiarity in:
    • The Android ecosystem, including Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
    • Collaboration and deployment tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, App Store, and Play Store.
  • Experience in agile development environments.
  • Able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentorship experience with junior team members.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • A strong curiosity for technology, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to work autonomously.
