What are the responsibilities?

In this capacity, you will collaborate with the FP&A team and finance leadership to deliver budgeting, forecasting, internal financial reporting, and various analyses to business leaders. Specifically, you will assist a group of leaders in managing their financial plans and providing insights that will guide forecasting and investment choices. Furthermore, you will be tasked with compiling financial reports for executive leadership and other key stakeholders.

  • Prepare comprehensive income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections. Evaluate actual performance against expectations.
  • Develop reporting materials for board members, leadership teams, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Work alongside business leaders to create monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts at the departmental level while supporting daily budget management.
  • Gain an understanding of each partner's business domain and utilize that knowledge to deliver analyses that inform business decisions. Act as a financial advisor, offering insights that aid in evaluating both new and existing investment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HR to monitor headcount budgets and associated labor expenditures, including strategies for internal and external labor.
  • Create and maintain financial models, reports, and analyses to support critical business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Track key performance indicators, identify trends, analyze results and variances, and present findings to senior management as necessary.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Enhance and streamline processes by developing repeatable methods, including standardizing and automating reports and improving planning and forecasting systems.
What we appreciate about you:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field within a publicly traded company (preferably in a technology setting).
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EPBCS and/or Smartview/Essbase.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey insights effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP principles.
Additional qualifications that would impress us:
  • MBA.
  • Experience in investment banking.
  • Preferred software knowledge: Oracle and SQL.
