Job Title: Crane Operator

Job Summary:

Metals USA is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at our Randleman, NC location. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating cranes to load and unload materials, staging products for shipment, and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

* Locate and move materials to the proper machine
* Stage material coming off production equipment on the correct skid type, per work instruction
* Load trucks and complete all appropriate paperwork
* Perform sheet pulls when needed
* Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

* High School or GED Equivalent
* Basic Mathematics skills
* Ability to read and write English Language
* Ability to understand and use Safety Rules and Procedures, as well as OSHA standards and regulations
* Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and recognize appropriate company policies
* Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to crane operations
* Ability to load and unload material using material handling equipment
* Ability to read measuring tape and caliper
