Crane Operator

Metals USA is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at our Randleman, NC location. As a leading metals processor and distributor in North America, we provide a wide range of carbon steel products and services to the defense, commercial construction, and road construction and fabrication industries.

• Locate and move materials to the proper machine, ensuring efficient production processes.
• Stage materials coming off production equipment on the correct skid type, following work instructions and preparing products for shipment.
• Load trucks and complete all necessary paperwork, maintaining accurate records.
• Perform sheet pulls as needed, supporting production and shipping operations.
• Assist with other duties assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic mathematics skills and ability to read and write English.
• Understanding of safety rules and procedures, including OSHA standards and regulations.
• Ability to exercise judgment and recognize applicable company policies.
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to crane operations.
• Ability to load and unload material using material handling equipment.
• Basic understanding of measuring tape and caliper usage.
