Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and adapt to new challenges.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced technicians to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
  • 3-5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a safety-focused environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
