Job Title: Mechanic - Maintenance

Job Summary:

The Mechanic - Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment and systems used in the process area, labs, and supporting utilities within the LP1 API manufacturing facility. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure the facility operates efficiently and complies with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily activities in a manner that will cause no injuries to themselves or their co-workers.
  • Complete all work in a timely manner and in accordance with GMP procedures.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including work order completion and post-maintenance documentation.
  • Communicate vital information to the appropriate parties when dealing with critical equipment issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of unexpected failures.
  • Use precision maintenance tools, such as micrometers, digital calipers, and laser alignment tools.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of maintenance operations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of mechanical systems repair, industrial maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient use of CMMS (Maximo) and other work order systems.
  • Proficient with electronic devices, smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a technical-related discipline (i.e., Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics).
  • 5 years of mechanical systems repair, industrial maintenance, or equivalent experience.
