We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety Co-Op to join our team at Entegris. As a Co-Op, you will assist the Environmental Health and Safety team in ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations at one of our manufacturing plants in Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Assist in the development of corrective action plans and track the implementation of corrective actions.
- Support the monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, including hazardous waste management, air emissions, and wastewater.
- Participate in various EHS projects, including risk assessments, ergonomics studies, and emergency response planning.
- Provide general administrative support to the EHS team as needed.
- Basic understanding of EHS principles and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
