Job Title: Registered Nurse

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the St. Matthews area. This is a full-time, first-shift position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our gastroenterology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sterile technique, medication management, and direct patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Perform EKGs, venipunctures, and other lab procedures with accuracy and precision.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist physicians with exams and procedures, and provide support with patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to OSHA and departmental policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited RN program.
  • BCLS Certification required.
  • Minimum two years of direct patient care experience preferred.
