Job DescriptionBusiness Development Manager Role:
As a key member of the Health IT Business Area leadership team, you will support federal health customers and contribute to the growth of current key/strategic Federal Civilian (Health IT) customer accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring excellence in delivery of full life cycle business development activities, including customer relationship management, account management, target identification, and development of capture and solution strategies.
- Partnering with the Business Area Growth leader and Division Manager to ensure effective identification and collaboration with counterparts across Leidos to bring forward best-of-breed solutions to customers and represent Health IT appropriately for strategic, large-scale campaigns in the Health market.
- Advising Leidos Growth leaders & Division leadership on call plans for key customers and programs and providing additional leadership and expertise in new business matters, including strategic planning, competitive intelligence, and market analysis.
- Participating in senior line and business development pipeline-pursuit reviews to ensure solid value propositions, win strategies, call plans, etc., are completed.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12+ years of related experience.
- A demonstrated track-record of high new business win history.
- Experience executing successful large-scale Business Development activities in federal government contracting work.
- Reputation for building high-performance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- 10+ years of related recent experience with a track-record of closing deals with Health customers.
- Maintenance of strong partnerships in the partner ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to win complex captures with values over $100M.
- Portfolio of submittals and awards that include experience in all types of government contracts and full array of opportunity types.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and highly effective interpersonal skills.
