The Associate Laboratory Directorate for Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ALDESHQ) is on the lookout for motivated recent graduates eager to engage in rewarding, paid internships at the post-baccalaureate level.

ALDESHQ oversees a multitude of Lab-wide safety initiatives, environmental stewardship and compliance, radiation safety, waste management, quality assurance, and the Occupational Medicine facility, supporting nearly 5000 projects and programs.


Key Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) is required for consideration, with a degree obtained no more than 3 years prior, and not yet enrolled in a graduate program.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision, complemented by strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proven experience in collaborative team environments, with a readiness to assist and support colleagues, alongside the capability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, evidenced by experience in preparing and formatting correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
- Commitment to uphold the Laboratory's mission, vision, culture, and values.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant or applicable field is required.

Work Environment:
This position is based onsite in a collaborative environment. All work locations are determined by management.
