We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Electronics Engineer to join our team in Rancho Bernardo, CA. This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.
Key Responsibilities- Integrate, test, and troubleshoot software and hardware systems in complex IT systems.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating closely with other engineers and technicians in a lab-like setting.
- Support a program requiring extensive technical expertise to support a developing system.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of related engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Demonstrated experience with VMWare.
- Security+ Certificate.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).
- Current Special Program Access.
- Mission Planning experience.
- Previous experience with existing system.
- Ability to maintain system configurations.
Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $133,000 - $199,600, as well as a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
