Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Electronics Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of design, buildup, and delivery of large data centers using commercially available IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Change Requests (CR) submissions, coordinating with various teams to solicit programmatic requirements and identify cost/schedule risks.
  • Lead the implementation of CRs, preparing and presenting kickoff meetings, and coordinating with supporting organizations.
  • Drive engineering deliverables, including part procurement, drawings, configuration guides, installation guides, test procedures, and maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinate personnel, travel, and visit requests for the integration team, and ensure delivery and security approval of all required materials.
  • Perform morning standup meetings with the integration team, regularly update detailed execution plans, and report end-of-day status to leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of related engineering experience.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Special Program Access experience.
  • Experience with engineering drawings, IT/documentation tools, and Agile processes.
  • Cost Account Management experience and proficiency in MS Project.
