Landscape Operations Manager

Childs Landscape Contractors, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to oversee all aspects of landscape maintenance and enhancements. This includes sales, renewals, production of jobs, as well as confirming staffing, schedule, payroll, and quality work.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Train and supervise all Foremen and crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Job Management: Ensure that all jobs are completed within the budgeted hours and cost, and that all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available to the crew.
- Field Reporting: Complete weekly field reports to document current site conditions and work completed, and to identify any areas for improvement.
- Crew Monitoring: Monitor crews daily to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively, and to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Quality Control: Visit job sites regularly to ensure that the work is being performed to the highest standards, and to address any quality control issues that may arise.
- Customer Communications: Communicate with customers to ensure that their expectations are being met, and to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Snow Removal Services: Participate in snow removal services as needed, and ensure that all necessary equipment and personnel are available to perform this service.
- Company Policies: Ensure that all company policies and procedures are communicated and followed by all staff members.
- Customer Satisfaction: Exceed each customer's expectations for quality, workmanship, and service, and ensure that all customers are satisfied with the work performed.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in management/sales of commercial grounds maintenance.
- Skills: Extensive experience in staffing, scheduling, and tracking job production rates, basic knowledge of plant material, knowledge of all associated machinery and trucks, ability to establish productivity benchmarks and motivate employees to achieve goals, strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills/communications.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Language: English and Spanish speaking required.
This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
