Role Responsibilities and QualificationsWe are in search of a proactive Certified Respiratory Care Specialist to assist us in achieving our objectives. In this role, you will assess the respiratory requirements of patients and formulate and execute tailored Respiratory Care Plans. Our collaborative team is dedicated to supporting one another, and we value professionals who share our commitment to exceptional patient care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating and managing acute care ventilators for both short-term and long-term mechanical ventilation.
- Demonstrating self-direction in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
- Maintaining accurate departmental and hospital records, ensuring precise data entry into the hospital's systems.
- Setting up and delivering both routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures for patients across all age groups.
Qualifications Required:
- Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA accredited respiratory care program (Associate's Degree); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Valid Florida State License (CRT) as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
- Current certification as a BLS healthcare provider from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
- Ability to perform frequent physical activities including standing, bending, reaching, and moving equipment.
