Job Title: Inventory/Purchasing Manager

Splintek Inc is a leading manufacturer of high-quality healthcare products, and we are seeking an experienced Inventory/Purchasing Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Inventory/Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all supply management activities, ensuring that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible. This role will involve managing procurement processes, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement processes, including requests for proposal, negotiation, and administration of purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking and monitoring of inventory items.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards, including regular audits and inspections.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, shipping, and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of purchasing and inventory experience.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and strong general computer skills.
  • Lean and Six Sigma education and experience a plus.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The Inventory/Purchasing Manager will work in a fast-paced office and warehouse environment, with regular exposure to dust, sharp edges, and uneven flooring. The role requires regular lifting, pushing, and moving of up to 50lbs.
