About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Box Truck Driver to join our team in Hayward, CA. As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering furniture to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a box truck in San Francisco and the surrounding area
  • Work with a delivery partner in 2-person teams to deliver furniture items into homes and businesses
  • Safely load and unload furniture from the warehouse into the delivery vehicle
  • Lift and move furniture into residential locations safely and with care
  • Unpack and assemble furniture and household accessories
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Provide professional and friendly customer engagement and communication
  • Follow routes and time schedule
  • Work in the warehouse to complete warehouse associate duties as required
Requirements
  • One of the following: + 2+ years of professional box truck driving experience
  • CDL license
  • Relevant MOS Code:
  • Marines 3500, 353
  • Army 88M
  • Air Force 2T1X1
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service
  • Must have a valid state drivers license and have a clean driving record for the last three years
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 120 pounds
  • Reliable, flexible schedule, and have the ability to meet the demands of the business
  • Must be able to pass: + a pre-employment fit-for-duty physical
  • DOT drug test
  • Physical exam
  • Criminal background check
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • 21 years of age or over
  • Ability to work weekends/holidays
